Tinybird is seeking a Software Engineer with C++ experience to contribute to the ClickHouse database, which is integral to their platform.
The role involves enhancing ClickHouse to meet both Tinybird's needs and the broader community's requirements, ensuring it remains a leading database solution.
Responsibilities include tackling critical bugs, developing new features, and collaborating with team members to solve various challenges related to ClickHouse.
The position is fully remote, with a preference for candidates located in Europe or nearby time zones.
Daily tasks will involve discussions about product goals and strategies, contributing to documentation, guides, and potentially blog posts.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience in C++, either through direct work with ClickHouse or in other products, with a strong desire to become an expert in ClickHouse internals.
A deep understanding of database internals is essential for this role.
Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Spanish, Russian, or Mandarin is a plus.
Strong written communication skills are necessary for documentation and asynchronous work.
Participation in the on-call team is preferred to gain insights into client issues.

The salary range for this position is €62,000 - €109,000 per year, including cash compensation and stock options.
