The role involves developing and implementing cloud-native web applications using strong computer science fundamentals.
Responsibilities include creating highly scalable REST APIs and web applications to support clinical workflows and internal tools.
The position requires collaboration with a technical lead, product, and cross-functional teams to streamline internal operations and generate commercial value.
Participation in an engineering on-call rotation is necessary to ensure high service availability and uptime.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience developing production-grade software applications from design through verification and validation (V&V).
Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with a strong capacity to interpret and execute abstract instructions, is required.
Candidates should take initiative on continued product improvements.
Experience with Python or similar programming languages is necessary.
Familiarity with development and project management software tools like Git, BitBucket, Jira, Postman, and Docker is required.
A Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred.
Experience in REST API creation and management, including documentation, implementation, and deployments, is preferred.
Working knowledge of distributed systems on a public cloud provider such as GCP or AWS is preferred.
Experience with DevOps tools such as BitBucket pipelines, Terraform, and Datadog is preferred.
A background in healthcare technology, including HIPAA requirements and compliance, HL7/FHIR standards, and FDA guidelines and regulations, is preferred.
Experience with IoT services for device and gateway communication telemetry and management is preferred.

The salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $170,000 a year.
