Description:

Cloudflare is seeking a Software Engineer for their Cloud Email Security (CES) service, which focuses on combating phishing, the source of 95% of data breaches on the internet.
The role involves working on a global network of sensors, utilizing web crawling, machine learning, computer vision, and petabytes of data to hunt bad actors on the internet.
The engineer will be responsible for creating subsystems and key components, collaborating with senior engineers to enhance the system, and designing and implementing new features for the cloud-based email gateway solution.
They will work on large-scale data systems in both online/streaming and offline/batch modes, revising areas of the system to improve performance, reliability, scalability, and functionality.
The position requires 5 years of experience in designing and implementing software systems, advanced proficiency in Java, a focus on security work related to email detections, and experience with distributed systems in a Unix environment.
