Description:

SmartAsset is seeking a Software Engineer for their Content Management team, which is responsible for the content management architecture at the company.
The role involves working on both front and backend services to build and migrate a new content management system.
Responsibilities include engaging in a collaborative team environment, delivering software using Agile methodology, and building full-stack enterprise technology solutions.
The engineer will partner with the Product team to streamline content creation, structure, and delivery, and integrate with third-party tools and internal Data teams.
The position requires designing an enterprise Content Management architecture that can grow with the business and identifying opportunities to adopt new technologies or processes to improve software quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4-6 years of experience building full stack web applications.
Experience in building, shipping, scaling, and operating Java web applications is required.
Strong experience with ReactJS frameworks and building modular content for the modern web is necessary.
Proficiency with SQL and comfort working with relational databases is essential.
Experience using or integrating headless WordPress is required.
Strong knowledge of Git or other source control tools is necessary.
Candidates should have experience designing complex cloud solutions based on AWS and the ability to plan their implementation.
Demonstrated critical and strategic thinking about business, products, and technical challenges to stakeholders is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and familiarity with working in an agile environment are essential.
Enthusiasm for working in a startup environment and the ability to be cross-functional is necessary.
A passion for technology and a commitment to continuous improvement with the team, tools, and processes is required.
