Description:
Amplifier Health seeks a talented Software Engineer to develop a voice cloning service for tele-health communications research.
You will develop a voice agent service that creates personalized, AI-powered voice clones for medical and tele-health communications under Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval.
Key responsibilities include developing and integrating with open-source voice platforms (such as vocode) to manage calls.
You will integrate the platform with Twilio for phone and SMS services, and connect with voice cloning services (including ElevenLabs, Deepgram, and PlayHT).
You will build a web interface to manage voice recordings and generate custom voices.
The service will be deployed and maintained on Google Cloud using Docker/Kubernetes.
This is a 2-month contract position with potential for full-time conversion.
The start date is flexible, expected between March and April 2025.
Compensation will be provided as a monthly stipend.
The position is remote.
Requirements:
A Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in full-stack software engineering with a focus on cloud infrastructure and AI/ML technologies is required.
Strong programming skills in Python and Node.js are necessary.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform and cloud infrastructure is essential.
A proven track record of building and deploying scalable web applications is required.
Knowledge of voice and audio processing technologies and APIs is necessary.
Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes is required.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential.
