Hightouch is seeking a product-minded backend engineer for their Customer Studio team, which is focused on building a no-code suite of features for data activation.
The role involves working on backend and distributed systems, with a focus on architecture, scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
The team is small, consisting of 3 engineers, 1 PM, and 1 designer, and Customer Studio is the fastest growing product, contributing nearly half of the company's revenue.
Key challenges include optimizing data warehouse performance, facilitating analytics and experimentation, enabling real-time audience syncing, and integrating generative AI to enhance user workflows.
The position is senior-level, emphasizing impact and growth potential over years of experience.
The salary range for this role is $180,000 - $260,000 USD per year, with location independence due to the remote-first policy.
