Description:
The Software Engineer position at Appfire involves working with the Document Management team to provide collaboration and agile solutions to organizations of various sizes.
The role includes working on top apps for Atlassian Confluence and implementing features for products that enhance teamwork for businesses worldwide.
Responsibilities also include participating in the entire development process from conceptualization to testing, maintaining code quality, and working both independently and as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will follow best engineering practices such as automated testing, code reviews, and pair programming.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should be passionate about programming, have a demonstrated understanding of software development, possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and be self-driven, self-managed, and efficient.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience as a software developer, experience as a web developer with Javascript or similar technologies, and an understanding of asynchronous programming.
Familiarity with technologies like Node.js, Typescript, REST, Git, and experience with AWS, Heroku, Jenkins, Github, Atlassian tools are preferred.
Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.
