Remote Software Engineer

Description:

• The Software Engineer position at Appfire involves working with the Document Management team to provide collaboration and agile solutions to organizations of various sizes.
• The role includes working on top apps for Atlassian Confluence and implementing features for products that enhance teamwork for businesses worldwide.
• Responsibilities also include participating in the entire development process from conceptualization to testing, maintaining code quality, and working both independently and as part of a team.
• The ideal candidate will follow best engineering practices such as automated testing, code reviews, and pair programming.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate should be passionate about programming, have a demonstrated understanding of software development, possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and be self-driven, self-managed, and efficient.
• Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience as a software developer, experience as a web developer with Javascript or similar technologies, and an understanding of asynchronous programming.
• Familiarity with technologies like Node.js, Typescript, REST, Git, and experience with AWS, Heroku, Jenkins, Github, Atlassian tools are preferred.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.
