Description:
Classy, a Public Benefit Corporation and affiliate of GoFundMe, is seeking a full stack Software Engineer to join their fast-paced team.
The role involves working on Classy Live, a platform that provides tools for charitable organizations to host live fundraising events using React and Node.js.
Responsibilities include contributing to the Classy Live product suite by building livestream/peer-to-peer technology, a scalable websocket layer, and a conversational SMS interface.
The Software Engineer will also write secure public APIs, drive the adoption of microservices, optimize SQL queries, work in an Agile/Scrum team, continuously learn and share knowledge, design new features, and give/receive feedback.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
Experience with UI, web server, and database technologies in a cloud-based environment is necessary.
A quality mindset, ability to work across the tech stack, and adaptability to learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment are essential.
