H2O.ai is seeking a Software Engineer to build scalable, cutting-edge AI solutions and deliver critical products to enterprise customers.
The role involves working alongside experienced Software Engineers in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities include contributing to the design, development, and deployment of scalable applications using technologies such as Kubernetes, Go, Python, Protobuf, gRPC, and REST API.
The engineer will help design and maintain a scalable microservices architecture and optimize large datasets efficiently.
The position also involves working with streaming data using Kafka and real-time data processing, with training provided if needed.
The engineer will use Helm to deploy and manage Kubernetes applications and will be responsible for debugging, testing, and refining software to ensure high code quality and reliability.
The role offers opportunities for learning and growth, with mentorship from a seasoned Senior Engineer.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
Candidates should have 2-4 years of software development experience, or solid projects if they are fast learners.
Proficiency in Go, Python, Kubernetes, Protobuf, gRPC, REST API, and microservices architecture is essential.
A passion for data-heavy applications and experience handling large datasets is necessary.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems is required.
Experience with Kafka or Helm is a bonus, but training will be provided if not.
Knowledge of JVM-based languages is advantageous but not mandatory.
A growth mindset is essential; candidates should be excited to learn and develop their skills.
