Remote Software Engineer, Data

Description:

• Attentive is seeking a self-driven Software Engineer II to join the Business Intelligence Engineering team.
• The role involves building and shaping the backbone for analytics needs across the organization.
• You will collaborate with Analysts, Data & ML Engineers, and other internal teams to define and shape self-service analytics and promote a data-driven culture.
• Responsibilities include defining BI and analytics requirements, developing data models for dashboards, and building scalable data pipelines for BI.
• The position requires a self-starter who is eager to learn and make an impact.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2+ years of data/software engineering experience is required.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python is necessary.
• Experience with ETL/ELT development is essential.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills are required to work effectively in a team.
• Familiarity or experience with Airflow, AWS, DBT, and Snowflake is preferred.
• Experience with a BI visualization tool like Looker or Tableau is also desired.
