Description:
The Software Engineer, Data Engine position at Fullstory involves working on evolving the transformation pipeline for captured data to provide more meaningful signals and timely updates to consumers both internally and externally.
Responsibilities include helping design and evolve highly distributed data processing pipelines and data management systems, exploring new features through thoughtful architecture and framework designs, planning for scaling data processes, ensuring quality and reliability of data across various data stores, and developing tooling to manage data at rest.
The role requires a strong understanding of distributed architectures, experience with writing Golang code in production, familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud-based microservices, expertise in building web systems at scale using React, Typescript, or similar front-end technologies, and experience with asynchronous or streaming processing systems and frameworks.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of distributed architectures and capacity/performance challenges when dealing with data at scale.
Experience writing Golang code in production.
Experience with Kubernetes and supporting cloud-based microservices.
Experience building web systems at scale using React, Typescript, or similar front-end technologies.
Experience working on asynchronous or streaming processing systems and frameworks.
