Description:

Teikametrics is seeking a software engineer with strong computer science fundamentals and a background in data engineering, API integration, or data processing.
The role involves building and scaling large data pipelines or services that can crawl, process, and ingest massive amounts of data from multiple sources.
The company analyzes this data to provide insights that accelerate customer business growth using Data Science and Business Intelligence.
The technology stack includes Spark-Scala for data processing, Kafka for data transfer, and other tools such as Databricks and S3.
Responsibilities include implementing and optimizing end-to-end Databricks Spark pipelines, developing robust ETL processes, implementing data validation and quality checks, collaborating with data scientists and analysts, and documenting technical designs and workflows.

Requirements:

Candidates should have 2-4 years of experience working as a professional software developer.
Experience in stream-based data processing at scale (e.g., Spark, Flink, Dataflow, EMR) with real-time data streaming (e.g., Kafka/Kinesis) is required.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java/Scala and Python is necessary.
Candidates must have experience writing well-designed and testable code, as well as effective unit and integration tests.
A passion for working in a small team of world-class developers and solving challenging problems is essential.
A desire to work in a collaborative environment focusing on continuous learning, including mentoring, tech talks, documentation, code review, and pair programming, is important.
Experience in eCommerce and marketplaces, particularly with platforms like Amazon, Shopify, Google, or eBay, can help candidates stand out.
