The role of Data Integrations Engineer involves designing, developing, and maintaining data feed integrations between Rentable and third-party platforms, primarily property management software.
Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration, and maintaining data integrity and security.
The position requires troubleshooting integration issues and creating comprehensive technical documentation.
Requirements:
A minimum of 1 year of experience in an integrations engineer position, preferably in a high-growth B2B SaaS startup.
Proficiency in Python, GO, or similar programming languages and frameworks.
Experience with cloud services such as AWS: RDS, ECS, S3, and Lambda.
A deep understanding of data feed formats, particularly XML and JSON.
A strong interest in leveraging large language models (LLMs) for enhancing job functions and developing innovative solutions.
Familiarity with open-source large language models and experience integrating them into software applications is a plus.
Knowledge of both relational and NoSQL databases, such as MySQL and DynamoDB.
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
An analytical and data-driven approach to identifying and prioritizing problems and solutions.
A demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing startup environment.
A passion for innovation and building products that solve real customer problems.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
