Description:

  • Haus aims to make high-quality decision science tooling and incrementality testing accessible to all businesses.
  • The software engineer will help build a robust and scalable foundation for data onboarding, including automated data ingestion pipelines and ad platform ingestion.
  • The role involves working closely with customers to optimize their data usage and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Responsibilities include gaining access to customer data, designing new onboarding integrations, troubleshooting data connections, maintaining web services and APIs, and participating in an on-call rotation.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
  • Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language such as Python, TypeScript, Scala, Golang, or Java is required.
  • Experience with data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or RedShift is necessary.
  • Familiarity with data workflow orchestration tools such as Dagster or Airflow is expected.
  • Experience with data transformation tools like DBT is required.
  • Candidates should have experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically Google Cloud or AWS.
  • The role requires interfacing with customer support functions and direct communication with customers.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills are essential.
  • Experience in querying and managing relational databases such as BigQuery, MySQL, or PostgreSQL is required.
  • Candidates should have experience in building web services and APIs.
  • A strong interest in developing a world-class product is necessary.
