Description:
Haus is a decision science platform focused on the new digital privacy paradigm where data sharing and PII is restricted.
The company utilizes causal inference based econometric models to run experiments that help brands understand the impact of their marketing, pricing, and promotions on their bottom line.
The team consists of former product managers, economists, and engineers from notable companies like Google, Netflix, Amazon, and Meta.
Haus aims to make high-quality decision science tooling and incrementality testing accessible to all businesses.
The software engineer will help build a robust and scalable foundation for data onboarding, including automated data ingestion pipelines and ad platform ingestion.
The role involves working closely with customers to optimize their data usage and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
Responsibilities include gaining access to customer data, designing new onboarding integrations, troubleshooting data connections, maintaining web services and APIs, and participating in an on-call rotation.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language such as Python, TypeScript, Scala, Golang, or Java is required.
Experience with data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or RedShift is necessary.
Familiarity with data workflow orchestration tools such as Dagster or Airflow is expected.
Experience with data transformation tools like DBT is required.
Candidates should have experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically Google Cloud or AWS.
The role requires interfacing with customer support functions and direct communication with customers.
Excellent spoken and written communication skills are essential.
Experience in querying and managing relational databases such as BigQuery, MySQL, or PostgreSQL is required.
Candidates should have experience in building web services and APIs.
A strong interest in developing a world-class product is necessary.
