The Software Engineer for the Data Platform team will design, develop, and maintain data infrastructure, including data pipelines and data warehouses.
This role is crucial for driving data strategy, enabling advanced analytics, and supporting Machine Learning operations at scale.
Responsibilities include designing and maintaining robust streaming and batch data pipelines using Databricks, Spark, and Python, ensuring data infrastructure is reliable and secure, and collaborating with data scientists and analysts.

Requirements:

Candidates should have 3-7 years of experience in software engineering for a data platform or a similar role.
Expertise in Apache Spark for large-scale data processing is required.
Advanced knowledge of production-level Python and strong SQL skills for data manipulation and ETL processes are necessary.
Experience with real-time streaming technologies such as Kafka or Kinesis is essential.
Familiarity with MLOps practices and workflows, including feature engineering, model training, and serving, is preferred.
Proficiency in Databricks, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform, or AWS is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams are important.
An “act-like-an-owner” mentality with a bias toward taking action is expected.

The position offers a competitive cash salary, with an estimated annual base salary ranging from $175,000 to $220,000.
