Remote Software Engineer - Database & Data Development

Description:

• As a Full-Stack Software Engineer at STAT, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web-based .NET applications.
• You will participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deploying, and maintaining software platforms.
• In the Database and Data Development aspect, you will design and implement scalable data systems, data pipelines, and ETL processes using SQL and NoSQL in a Microsoft Azure environment.
• Your role will involve optimizing data warehouses for analytics and reporting, creating logical data models, and maintaining backup, restore, and security processes.
• You will assess and enhance data governance, quality, performance, and management practices at STAT.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a developer in client-centered environments, with at least 2 years of building server-side applications using C#/.NET.
• 5+ years of experience in database engineering and administration, preferably in a SQL environment.
• Significant experience in data integration and ETL processes.
• Front-end experience with VueJS is a bonus but not mandatory.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload independently.
• Enjoy solving loosely defined problems with elegant solutions.
• Flexible and willing to tackle various tasks and challenges.
