Description:

  • Enable Dental is seeking a talented Software Engineer with strong DevOps and systems architecture experience to join their team in Austin, TX.
  • This role involves designing and scaling architecture that delivers reliability, scalability, and performance for healthcare technology.
  • The engineer will collaborate with product and design professionals, as well as a team of engineers, to tackle high-impact projects.
  • Responsibilities include architecting and maintaining infrastructure, building and managing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and optimizing performance, and owning the DevOps lifecycle.
  • The role emphasizes systems design, architecture, and scalability, requiring expertise in Python, Django, and AWS architecture.
  • The engineer will also contribute to the integration of AI tools or LLMs to streamline workflows and increase platform intelligence.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in DevOps, site reliability engineering, or full-stack software engineering with infrastructure responsibilities.
  • Proven experience with AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, and RDS, as well as infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation is required.
  • A deep familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is essential.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, release strategies, and deployment automation tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI is necessary.
  • Candidates should have demonstrated success in architecting high-availability, fault-tolerant, and scalable systems.
  • Solid experience with Python/Django and cloud-based backend development is required.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or ELK is expected.
  • Bonus qualifications include exposure to HIPAA compliance, healthcare systems, or LLMs/AI integration.
