Description:
Enable Dental is seeking a talented Software Engineer with strong DevOps and systems architecture experience to join their team in Austin, TX.
This role involves designing and scaling architecture that delivers reliability, scalability, and performance for healthcare technology.
The engineer will collaborate with product and design professionals, as well as a team of engineers, to tackle high-impact projects.
Responsibilities include architecting and maintaining infrastructure, building and managing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and optimizing performance, and owning the DevOps lifecycle.
The role emphasizes systems design, architecture, and scalability, requiring expertise in Python, Django, and AWS architecture.
The engineer will also contribute to the integration of AI tools or LLMs to streamline workflows and increase platform intelligence.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in DevOps, site reliability engineering, or full-stack software engineering with infrastructure responsibilities.
Proven experience with AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, and RDS, as well as infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation is required.
A deep familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is essential.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, release strategies, and deployment automation tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI is necessary.
Candidates should have demonstrated success in architecting high-availability, fault-tolerant, and scalable systems.
Solid experience with Python/Django and cloud-based backend development is required.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or ELK is expected.
Bonus qualifications include exposure to HIPAA compliance, healthcare systems, or LLMs/AI integration.
