Centrapay is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team remotely in New Zealand.
The role offers a salary range of $70,000 - $125,000 plus benefits and flexible working hours.

The engineer will work on the payments platform and the Payap app, which enhances user experience.
Daily tasks include automation, test-driven development, and continuous deployment, with code deployment occurring almost every day.

Collaboration with engineering peers and stakeholders is essential, as well as direct interaction with customers.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
A strong inclination towards building software that is easy to read and extendable is required.
High levels of ownership are necessary; candidates must be responsible for the software they build.
Strong written communication skills are essential to align with the company's async-first working style.
A proactive mentality is needed to navigate ambiguous problems and seek help when necessary.
Applicants must be based in New Zealand.
Familiarity with the core tech stack, including Node.js, DynamoDB, Redis, Vue.js, AWS, and Git, is preferred.
