Remote Software Engineer

• The Software Engineer will develop and configure 3DS payment authentication software.

Requirements:

• A software/engineering qualification, preferably a degree in computer science or a related field, is preferred.
• Candidates must have a minimum of 6 years of prior experience as a Java Software Developer.
• A strong technical background in Java development is required.
• Candidates should have a strong understanding of SOLID design principles and architectural design patterns.
• Good command of English is necessary for effective communication.
• Knowledge of unit, integration, and performance testing is required.
• Familiarity with version control software, specifically Git, is necessary.
• Candidates should have knowledge of database schemas and queries.
• Experience in designing and building generic, reusable, and configurable software components is required.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies, particularly Scrum, is preferred.
• Preferred candidates will have knowledge of 3-D Secure payments, web banking systems, or cryptography.
• Experience with conducting performance testing and optimizing database queries is preferred.
• Familiarity with PCI DSS and PCI 3DS is advantageous.
• Experience with the Spring Framework, Bootstrap, AWS or Azure, and container technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm is preferred.
