Description:

Vercel is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Edge team to enhance product and customer experience by scaling and improving infrastructure, availability, and reliability.
Responsibilities include collaborating with backend engineers and the product team to identify issues, develop tooling, and automation.
The role involves designing systems, writing code, and troubleshooting systems in production to manage deploying, routing, and serving for customers using various cloud providers' infrastructure.
The position requires expertise in serving petabytes of data, scaling high-performance systems in the cloud, and ensuring platform security.
Knowledge and experience with web servers, network protocols, Golang, and Cloud Services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) are essential, while familiarity with Terraform, Kubernetes, Lua, React, and Next.js is advantageous.
