Remote Software Engineer

Description:

• The Software Engineer II position at Juniper Square involves collaborating with other engineers and cross-functional partners to extend and build new system capabilities.
• The role focuses on contributing to large, complex projects, defining and expanding data models, implementing business logic, and providing technical support for stakeholder groups.
• The engineer will primarily work with Python, Node, and React technologies.
• This role is within a new team responsible for customer interactions, offering an opportunity to lead and shape the team.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience is required.
• Candidates should have 2+ years of experience building cloud-based web applications.
• Expertise in object-oriented programming (OOP) languages like Python, Node, Java, C#, or C++ is necessary.
• Experience with SQL database schema design and query optimization is essential.
• Familiarity with GraphQL, Apollo Server, React, and NestJS is a plus but not mandatory.
• Candidates must be flexible and adaptable to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

• The U.S. base salary range for this role is $150,000 - $170,000, with actual salaries based on candidate-specific factors.
