Description:

  • Warner Music Group is seeking a Software Engineer, Engineering Productivity to enhance engineering productivity.
  • The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create tools, systems, and processes that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the development process.
  • Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining automation tools, enhancing CI/CD pipelines, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS, optimizing build systems, ensuring code quality and testing, performance tuning, and creating documentation for tools and processes.
  • The position requires close collaboration with key music industry stakeholders and colleagues across the U.S. and Canada.
  • The role offers the opportunity to reimagine technology for the music industry and work within a dynamic team focused on continuous improvement and learning.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional Software Engineer is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Python or Java is required.
  • Experience with test automation framework development is essential, with a preference for Playwright and Selenium.
  • Familiarity with unit, integration, and performance testing tools is required.
  • Experience with Bazel or other build tools and deploying in AWS is necessary.
  • The candidate should thrive in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
  • A proactive approach to delivering better solutions efficiently is expected.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment are essential.
  • A passion for the music business and helping artists and songwriters grow is important.

Benefits:

  • The salary range for this position is $124,000 - $159,000 per year, depending on work experience and business needs.
