Description:

  • As an Entry-Level Software Engineer at INflow Federal, you will be involved in coding and development tasks, including writing, debugging, and maintaining code in various programming languages.
  • You will collaborate with senior engineers, designers, and product managers to understand requirements and contribute to the design and architecture of software solutions.
  • Your responsibilities will also include testing and quality assurance to ensure code quality and performance, as well as contributing to documentation for software projects.
  • Continuous learning and growth are encouraged, with opportunities to improve programming skills, participate in problem-solving, engage in code reviews, and troubleshoot software issues.
  • The position offers the chance to work on real-world projects from day one and be part of a team dedicated to reshaping digital transformation for the Department of Defense networks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred; practical experience and a strong portfolio can substitute for formal education.
  • No professional experience required, but internships, coding boot camps, or personal projects are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C++, etc.
  • Basic understanding of software development methodologies like Agile and Scrum.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, algorithmic thinking, and good communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment, detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a passion for technology and continuous learning.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen to meet citizenship requirements.
