Remote Software Engineer

Description:

• Kojo is seeking Full Stack Engineers to join their Engineering team to help digitalize and streamline the materials procurement process for commercial construction companies.
• The role involves playing a critical role in shipping key aspects of the application, contributing to building engineering, product, and company roadmaps, and delivering a product that transforms the construction industry.
• Responsibilities also include expanding Kojo’s engineering culture through process improvement, regular learning sessions, and participation in hiring new employees.
• The position is entirely remote and full-time for candidates residing in North America, with flexible working hours from ET to PT.
• The salary for Canadian-based candidates ranges from CA$135,000 to CA$165,000, depending on experience and location.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have at least 4 years of experience shipping high-quality software in a fast-paced environment.
• Expertise in TypeScript, React, GraphQL, Node, and PostgreSQL is required.
• A B.S. in CS or a related field, or equivalent experience, is necessary.
• The ability to write clean and performant code, work on different parts of the stack, and collaborate effectively as a team player is essential.
• Desired qualities include customer obsession, prioritization, attention to detail, and a growth mindset.
