Remote Software Engineer

Description:

• The position is for a Software Engineer on a 6-month contract inside IR35.
• The role is fully remote and located in the UK.
• The application utilizes Node.js to run Express routing and middleware, with session data stored in a Redis cache.
• The application image is built and deployed using Docker, Kubernetes, and a Drone pipeline.
• Service endpoints are protected by Keycloak, and ingress is managed by an nginx container, all implemented via Kubernetes.
• Standards for the application are maintained using SonarQube and Eslint.
• Tests for the application are written in Mocha.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have proficiency in Javascript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha is required.
• Familiarity with Node.js, Express, and Redis is considered a nice to have.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Drone is also a plus.
• Experience with Keycloak, AWS S3, AWS SQS, SonarQube, and Eslint is advantageous.
