Description:

The Corporate Engineering team is responsible for the in-house development of business systems supporting all areas of PayPay, including merchant, customer, and authority domains.
The role involves developing and operating APIs to assess risks within the PayPay app, utilizing SaaS services for development.
Responsibilities include developing APIs that block transactions based on risk assessments, coding in Scala, CQL, and Python, and managing the entire process from negotiation with other teams to development, testing, monitoring, and operation.
Past projects include creating an eKYC anti-social API, building systems to block transactions from suspicious users, and developing systems to block high-value transactions under specific conditions.
The development environment includes AWS, GCP, Scala, Python, and proprietary SaaS products utilizing Kafka, Spark, and Cassandra.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience in promoting business process improvement and efficiency projects (PM/PL/PMO).
A minimum of 2 years of experience in custom application development is required.
Proficiency in Japanese at a business level is necessary.
Effective and smooth communication with diverse stakeholders, both internal and external, is essential.
Preferred qualifications include practical experience in fraud prevention within internet or financial services.
English proficiency (listening and speaking) is desirable.
