Description:
AeroVect is a Series A company focused on transforming ground handling with autonomy, serving major airlines and ground service providers globally.
The Software Engineer will develop and maintain software for AeroVect's autonomous driving stack and manage infrastructure for integration and deployment.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining software components, collaborating with autonomy engineers, troubleshooting issues, and documenting findings.
The role also involves developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing AWS cloud infrastructure, and optimizing software performance for reliability and availability.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 2+ years of experience in robotics software development or a similar role.
Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in robotics, such as Python, C++, and ROS, is necessary.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Github Actions, or CircleCI is required.
Familiarity with AWS and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation, is essential.
Strong scripting skills in Bash for automation are required.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is necessary.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git and collaborative development workflows is required.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack is a plus.
