Description:

  • AeroVect is a Series A company focused on transforming ground handling with autonomy, serving major airlines and ground service providers globally.
  • The Software Engineer will develop and maintain software for AeroVect's autonomous driving stack and manage infrastructure for integration and deployment.
  • Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining software components, collaborating with autonomy engineers, troubleshooting issues, and documenting findings.
  • The role also involves developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing AWS cloud infrastructure, and optimizing software performance for reliability and availability.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, or a related field is required.
  • Candidates must have 2+ years of experience in robotics software development or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in robotics, such as Python, C++, and ROS, is necessary.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Github Actions, or CircleCI is required.
  • Familiarity with AWS and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation, is essential.
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash for automation are required.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is necessary.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and collaborative development workflows is required.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack is a plus.
