Description:

  • The position is for a Software Engineer focused on training AI data using Golang.
  • This is a fully remote role, accepting applicants from the US, Canada, and various countries in LATAM and Europe, as well as some countries in Africa and Asia.
  • The role involves joining an expert annotation team to create training data for advanced AI models, with no previous AI experience required.
  • Candidates will evaluate the quality of AI-generated code and provide human-readable summaries of their rationale.
  • Responsibilities include solving coding problems, writing functional and efficient code, and creating robust test cases to ensure code efficiency.
  • The projects are diverse, ranging from evaluating Golang code to developing full mobile applications and improving chatbot responses.
  • Compensation rates vary by location and experience, with expectations of 15+ hours per week, and the potential to work up to 40+ hours weekly.
  • The contract is long-term with no end date, and candidates can end the contract at any time, although a commitment of 12 months is preferred.
  • Developers can set their own hours, allowing for flexible schedules.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in a software engineering or software development role.
  • Complete fluency in the English language is required.
  • The ability to articulate complex scientific concepts clearly and engagingly is essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail and consistency in writing is necessary.
  • A solid understanding of grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines is required.
  • Proficiency in Golang is mandatory.
  • Nice to have qualifications include a Bachelor's or Masterโ€™s degree in Computer Science and proficiency in additional programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, C++, SQL, Swift, Ruby, Rust, .NET, Matlab, PHP, HTML, DART, R, Apex, and Shell, C, C#.
  • Recognized accomplishments in the coding community and proven analytical skills are advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning are preferred.
