Description:

  • You will join an expert annotation team to create training data for advanced AI models.
  • No previous AI experience is necessary; this role is an entry point into the AI/LLM space.
  • The position requires software engineers with 3+ years of experience to train large AI language models.
  • Your tasks will include evaluating the quality of AI-generated code and providing human-readable summaries of your rationale.
  • You will solve coding problems and write functional and efficient code.
  • Writing robust test cases to confirm code efficiency and effectiveness is also part of your responsibilities.
  • The role involves solving coding challenges, creating instructions for others, and reviewing code before it is integrated into the model.
  • Projects will vary widely, from comparing pieces of Python code to developing full mobile applications and improving chatbot responses.
  • The pay rate for this position in Belgium is $22.98 per hour, with expectations of 15+ hours per week, and no upper limit on hours worked.
  • The contract is long-term with no end date, and you can terminate it at any time, although a commitment of 12 months is preferred.
  • Flexible schedules are available, allowing developers to set their own hours and take breaks as needed.
  • The interview process includes an application, a code review, a group call for onboarding questions, and a simulated production-level task.

Requirements:

  • You must have 3+ years of experience in a software engineering or software development role.
  • Complete fluency in the English language is required.
  • You should be able to articulate complex scientific concepts clearly and engagingly.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistency in writing are essential.
  • A solid understanding of grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines is necessary.
  • Proficiency with Python is required.
