Description:

The position is for a Software Engineer focused on training AI data, specifically requiring proficiency in Python and fluency in Dutch.
This is a remote contract role based in the Netherlands, with a flexible schedule allowing developers to set their own hours.
The role involves joining an expert annotation team to create training data for advanced AI models, with no prior AI experience necessary.
Responsibilities include evaluating the quality of AI-generated code, solving coding problems, writing functional and efficient code, and creating robust test cases.
The projects are varied and may include tasks such as comparing pieces of Python code or developing mobile applications using chatbots.
The pay rate is $21.30 per hour, with expectations of 15+ hours of work per week, and the potential to work up to 40+ hours.
The contract is long-term with no specified end date, and candidates can terminate the contract at any time.
The interview process includes an application, a code review, a group call for onboarding questions, and a simulated production-level task.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in a software engineering or software development role.
Complete fluency in English is required.
The ability to articulate complex scientific concepts clearly and engagingly is essential.
Excellent attention to detail and consistency in writing is necessary.
A solid understanding of grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines is required.
Proficiency in Python is mandatory.
Nice to have qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science and proficiency in additional programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, C++, SQL, Swift, Ruby, Rust, Go, .NET, Matlab, PHP, HTML, DART, R, Apex, and Shell, C, C#.
Recognized accomplishments in the coding community and proven analytical skills are advantageous.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning are preferred.

The position offers a flexible work schedule, allowing candidates to work as much as they want, with the potential for 20-40 hours per week.
Payment is made weekly based on hours worked on the platform.
There is an expectation of long-term work availability for the next two years.
