Description:
Glide is reimagining the banking experience for the modern world through its embedded fintech platform.
The company empowers legacy financial institutions, such as community banks and credit unions, to create novel digital experiences for their customers.
The role involves owning projects with strategic customers from start to finish, collaborating directly with customers and internal engineering teams to implement the Glide platform.
The engineer will customize Glide's platform to meet specific customer needs by developing alongside the engineering team using tools like Typescript, React, Node.js, and NextJS.
The position requires driving the integration architecture roadmap in collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to enhance Glide's offerings for Enterprise and strategic customers.
The engineer will also guide the roadmap for Glide’s customization features by building self-serve customization capabilities for customers.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience with Javascript and tools such as Typescript, React, Node.js, and NextJS.
Experience using data fetching libraries like React Query or tRPC to synchronize client and server data is required.
An excellent understanding of software engineering best practices, including architecture, test-driven development, and component libraries, is necessary.
Candidates should have experience with automated testing frameworks.
Familiarity with CI/CD, Version Control, and DevOps tools like Amazon Web Services, Git, and Docker is essential.
Experience working in agile development teams is required.
It is preferred that candidates have 2+ years of full-time experience as a software engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or in a similar role.
A desire to own a product end-to-end, from conception to delivery, is a plus.
A collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit is also desirable.
