Description:

  • Snapsheet is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Foundational Services Team, which is responsible for developing services within the cloud architecture that serve as fundamental components for customer-facing applications.
  • The role involves a variety of projects, including user authentication and customer-configured system automation.
  • Key responsibilities include building a new background job platform with Amazon SQS, developing a webhook feature for the Workflows platform, and planning the implementation of a comprehensive MFA feature for the login flow.
  • The engineer will also learn about customer support, collaborate with teammates, familiarize themselves with the project management cycle, and contribute to system upgrades, maintenance, and bug fixes.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 3+ years of fullstack-focused web development experience.
  • Familiarity with modern technologies such as Ruby on Rails and React is a plus.
  • Experience in designing and building APIs, designing schemas, and creating performant queries for relational databases is required.
  • A solid understanding of scalability challenges and performance of server-side code is necessary.
  • The ideal candidate should be eager to learn from and work with a collaborative team, demonstrate a commitment to quality, and have a passion for technology and creating cutting-edge solutions.
  • Ability to manage tasks and contribute to multiple initiatives during a sprint is essential.
