Remote Software Engineer - Front End

Description:

• Ground Truth Labs, a spinout from the University of Oxford, is seeking a Front End Software Engineer to contribute to the development of new AI biomarkers for oncology.
• The role involves working in a creative and fast-paced environment, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to design and build an interactive platform for AI tools in healthcare.

• Responsibilities include leading full-stack development, designing user interfaces, conducting user-centric design reviews, creating front-end component libraries, collaborating with various teams, and integrating new design work into the biomarker platform.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience in building frontend technology and designing user interfaces.
• Expertise in TypeScript, React, or equivalent core front-end technologies and frameworks.
• Experience in front end, UX, UI engineering, development, or equivalent portfolio of work/projects.
• Proficiency in working with Cloud Platforms, databases, and APIs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team environment.
• Nice to have: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience, experience with Data Visualisation in a biology or clinical context, familiarity with tech-stack (NextJS, Tailwind, Vercel, D3, SQL), knowledge of modern machine learning and AI methods, experience collaborating with scientists and data engineers on visual features.
