Remote Software Engineer (Front-End), Web

Description:

• As a front-end web developer at Sanity.io, you will be part of a team responsible for creating a best-in-class marketing site using technologies like TypeScript, Next.js, Vercel, and Sanity.
• You will collaborate with developers, designers, and content creators to contribute to the development of the Sanity.io website, ensuring high conversion rates and exceptional user experience.
• Building a design system and component library to maintain consistent branding and user experience across all platforms.
• Improving site performance through appropriate render methods, caching, image optimization, and adherence to web development best practices.
• Ensuring site accessibility by utilizing browser accessibility features and making data-driven decisions based on user research and rapid iteration.
• Collaborating with other teams at Sanity such as Growth, Product Marketing, Content Marketing, and Demand Generation.

Requirements:

• Strong web development skills with the ability to adapt to new technologies and find practical solutions.
• Experience in building CMS-powered websites using design systems and component libraries.
• Structured, creative, and collaborative mindset while being self-driven and capable of time management.
• Proficiency in writing maintainable TypeScript, React, and CSS code with a focus on good design, UX, and accessibility.
• Emphasis on delivering measurable site improvements and quantitative outcomes.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in modern web development.
• Previous experience with Next.js and Sanity is advantageous.
