Description:
Twilio is looking for a Software Engineer - Frontend to enhance the Twilio User experience of Voice product by implementing modern Web experiences through the Console and Applications.
The role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to design and deliver customer-centric solutions.
Responsibilities include improving Twilio’s web experience, resolving technical issues for internal and external customers, and leading software development projects.
The position requires driving high engineering standards through code review, automated testing, and mentoring.
Requirements:
Experience with modern Web technologies such as React, TypeScript, and Nodejs.
3+ years of Javascript experience, including knowledge of asynchronous programming, closures, types, and ES6.
Proficiency in building UI products using frontend frameworks like React, TypeScript, and Redux.
Strong HTML/CSS skills, including layout, specificity, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility.
Familiarity with REST API design, Nodejs services development, and source code control systems like Github.
Exposure to user behavior tracking tools and automated testing.
Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines and processes.
Expertise in UX design and strong cross-team communication skills.
Ability to work in an asynchronous communication environment with multidisciplinary and international teams.
