Description:

  • Twilio is looking for a Software Engineer - Frontend to enhance the Twilio User experience of Voice product by implementing modern Web experiences through the Console and Applications.
  • The role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to design and deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Responsibilities include improving Twilio’s web experience, resolving technical issues for internal and external customers, and leading software development projects.
  • The position requires driving high engineering standards through code review, automated testing, and mentoring.

Requirements:

  • Experience with modern Web technologies such as React, TypeScript, and Nodejs.
  • 3+ years of Javascript experience, including knowledge of asynchronous programming, closures, types, and ES6.
  • Proficiency in building UI products using frontend frameworks like React, TypeScript, and Redux.
  • Strong HTML/CSS skills, including layout, specificity, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility.
  • Familiarity with REST API design, Nodejs services development, and source code control systems like Github.
  • Exposure to user behavior tracking tools and automated testing.
  • Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines and processes.
  • Expertise in UX design and strong cross-team communication skills.
  • Ability to work in an asynchronous communication environment with multidisciplinary and international teams.
