Remote Software Engineer, Frontend at Blueground

Description:

Blueground is seeking a (Senior) Software Engineer, Frontend to join their Engineering team.
The role involves designing and implementing complex user interfaces for web-based applications using Vue.js, React.js, and a Micro-frontends architecture.
The engineer will work with a well-established development methodology, solid engineering practices, and challenging requirements.
Responsibilities include architecting, designing, and building product features, delivering rich, responsive, mobile-first experiences on the browser, participating in SCRUM ceremonies, coding in Vue.js & React.js, writing unit tests, e2e tests, HTML, CSS, automating tasks, and depending on a CI pipeline.
The position offers the opportunity to work in agile, cross-functional, devops-enabled teams, collaborate with a product designer, product owner, and engineer in test, work on functional and non-functional testing, performance, SEO, and modern browser technologies.
The role also involves enjoying quality engineering, being part of a rapidly growing company, and working with cool colleagues.

3+ years of full-time industry experience with web technologies.
Strong web fundamentals and a solid understanding of the ecosystem in 2023.
Strong Javascript skills (ES2015+), good grasp of HTML & CSS, experience with modern JS frameworks & tooling (React, Vue, Webpack, DevTools), and an eye for good UX.
Comfortable with Git, excellent communication in English, BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related subject.
Bonus points for experience in full-stack development on Node.js, familiarity with *nix shell, and experience in software testing.
