Remote Software Engineer - Frontend

Description:

• Timescale is seeking an experienced Front-End Engineer to develop and implement the UI/UX for their cloud platform.
• The role involves creating a great SaaS product experience, focusing on managed cloud services and data-driven visualization.
• Responsibilities include writing production-level code in Typescript with React and ensuring strong self-driven execution and delivery.
• The position requires collaboration with product, design, and other engineers to enhance customer experiences.
• This is a fully remote, full-time position, preferably for candidates in the North and South American time zones.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 2+ years of UI/UX or front-end development experience.
• Strong programming skills in Typescript and experience with modern JS frameworks, particularly React, are required.
• Attention to detail in look & feel, user flows, and UI/UX is essential.
• Prior experience in developing backend services, especially on the API layer, is necessary.
• Familiarity with SQL or other data-driven query languages is preferred.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment is important.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
• Experience writing in Golang is a plus.
