Vanta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Frontend team, focusing on building a strong foundation for their frontend stack to support exponential growth.
The role involves leading complex projects, mentoring engineers, and driving technical direction to enhance Vanta's infrastructure.
Responsibilities include improving application performance, redesigning frontend testing frameworks, and maintaining the internal GraphQL API.
The engineer will set best practices for frontend testing strategies and build robust monitoring for application performance.
The position requires collaboration with product engineering teams to advocate for product quality and web performance.

Requirements:

Candidates should have an interest in learning about security or prior experience in the field.
Experience in technical leadership roles for teams or complex projects is required.
Applicants must have experience with frontend infrastructure challenges related to scale, reliability, or performance.
Proficiency in writing codemods and familiarity with infrastructure as code is necessary.
Experience with GraphQL, Typescript, and React is required, along with familiarity with frontend technologies such as Webpack, Parcel, Mocha, and Jest.
Candidates should have worked on technical initiatives aimed at web performance, product platform, frontend infrastructure, or developer productivity.

The base pay range for this position is $163,000 - $223,000, with potential for commissions, bonuses, equity, and other perks.
