Description:

Automox is seeking a Software Engineer - Frontend (Vue.js) to work remotely in the United States or Ontario.
The role involves contributing to all aspects of the software development lifecycle from ideation through maintenance and bug fixing as part of an Agile team.
Responsibilities include writing performant, testable, and maintainable code that integrates with a RESTful API to enhance user experience.
The engineer will partner with UX Engineers and Designers to translate visual designs into code.
Collaboration with Product and Design teams is essential to shape and define a product that customers will love.
The position requires contributing to the frontend architecture to allow modular functionality without compromising customer experience or code base consistency.
Ensuring code quality through designing testable code and implementing unit and integration tests is a key responsibility.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of frontend development experience using the Vue (Vue 3) framework in an enterprise-level application is required.
Experience in developing highly responsive enterprise-level single-page applications is necessary.
Expertise in writing JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS (SCSS) is essential.
A solid understanding of computer science concepts such as data structures, algorithms, and design patterns is required, particularly how they affect performance and scalability of web applications.
Familiarity with modern build and testing tools such as Vite, Vitest, and Cypress is needed.
Experience in developing reusable NPM modules is a must.
A strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including unit testing, code reviews, design documentation, debugging, troubleshooting, and agile development is required.
A passion for solving customer problems using technology and experience working with fast-moving cross-functional teams is essential.
The ability to break down complex functionality into simple technical designs is necessary.
An interest in continuous learning and sharing knowledge with others is expected.
A sense of ownership and curiosity to investigate issues is important.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $140,000 USD plus bonuses.
