Description:

• The Software Engineer - Full Stack position at Wellmark involves conducting high-level systems analysis and implementing efficient and cost-effective software solutions that support the company's business and technology applications.
• The role includes leading system development, guiding the team in design, development, code testing, and debugging to ensure successful completion of projects.
• The engineer will focus on utilizing emerging technologies, driving adoption of best practices, and supporting a diverse development resourcing model.
• The Digital Services Team, which the engineer will be a part of, primarily works on building and maintaining AWS-hosted applications using Angular and NodeJS.
• The ideal candidate should have a passion for full stack development, CI/CD, code quality, and mentoring other developers.
• Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with at least 1 year of software development experience or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to gather information, build relationships, communicate effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role.

Requirements:

• Experience with MongoDB, MySQL, SQL Server, Express, Angular, and Node JavaScript Stack is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with AWS technologies like Lambdas, CloudWatch, CloudFront, and DynamoDB is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies, mobile development, and developing digital customer-centric applications is desired.
• Ability to mentor/coach others, partner with global staffing vendors, and work within a diverse development team model is required.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are necessary for this role.
