Remote Software Engineer, Full Stack

Description:

• TextUs is seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Engineer to assist in the development of their applications.
• The ideal candidate will have recent experience in developing production web applications, including reviewing documentation, completing work independently, and ensuring proper test coverage.
• Proficiency in writing comprehensive documentation and familiarity with software design patterns, Ruby on Rails, and React is required.
• The candidate should be willing to take ownership of different application sections, mentor fellow developers, and demonstrate problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, CI/CD tooling, and cloud computing providers is essential.
• The technology stack includes Ruby on Rails, React, Typescript, Material UI, Postgres, ElasticSearch, ActiveJob, and cloud computing providers.
• The position is full-time, remote in the US, with a compensation range of $105,000 - $125,000 and a start date four weeks from the offer.
• The reporting manager will be the Engineering Manager.

Requirements:

• Recent experience in developing production web applications in a professional setting.
• Proficiency in writing detailed documentation and familiarity with software design patterns, Ruby on Rails, and React.
• Ability to take ownership of different application sections, mentor colleagues, and solve problems effectively.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, CI/CD tooling, and cloud computing providers.
• Comfortable working in a 100% remote environment.
