Description:
Simpplr is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join their team in India and contribute to building the future of work.
The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable microservices in Node with TypeScript and create new user-facing features using React TypeScript.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining applications on AWS, deploying infrastructure using Kubernetes, writing automated tests, influencing architecture decisions, and mentoring team members.
The ideal candidate should prioritize scalability, system performance, and user experience, with 2-5 years of experience in backend development with Node.js and frontend development with React.
Knowledge of CI/CD, unit testing, functional programming patterns, and experience in a fast-paced startup environment are essential.
Additional desirable skills include curiosity about AI, experience with distributed architecture, microservices, micro frontends, writing efficient TypeScript code, and familiarity with feature flag tools.
Requirements:
Prior experience in backend development with Node.js, preferably with TypeScript and relevant database technologies.
Proficiency in frontend development with React and understanding of virtual DOM concepts.
Familiarity with modern modular CSS strategies like styled components, emotion, etc., and knowledge of CI/CD, unit testing, and end-to-end testing using frameworks like Cypress.
Strong understanding of functional programming patterns and excitement for working in a fast-paced startup environment.
Curiosity about AI, experience with distributed architecture, microservices, micro frontends, writing efficient TypeScript code, and familiarity with feature flag tools are advantageous.
