Remote Software Engineer -Full Stack

Description:

• Simpplr is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join their team in India and contribute to building the future of work.
• The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable microservices in Node with TypeScript and create new user-facing features using React TypeScript.
• Responsibilities include building and maintaining applications on AWS, deploying infrastructure using Kubernetes, writing automated tests, influencing architecture decisions, and mentoring team members.
• The ideal candidate should prioritize scalability, system performance, and user experience, with 2-5 years of experience in backend development with Node.js and frontend development with React.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, unit testing, functional programming patterns, and experience in a fast-paced startup environment are essential.
• Additional desirable skills include curiosity about AI, experience with distributed architecture, microservices, micro frontends, writing efficient TypeScript code, and familiarity with feature flag tools.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in backend development with Node.js, preferably with TypeScript and relevant database technologies.
• Proficiency in frontend development with React and understanding of virtual DOM concepts.
• Familiarity with modern modular CSS strategies like styled components, emotion, etc., and knowledge of CI/CD, unit testing, and end-to-end testing using frameworks like Cypress.
• Strong understanding of functional programming patterns and excitement for working in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Curiosity about AI, experience with distributed architecture, microservices, micro frontends, writing efficient TypeScript code, and familiarity with feature flag tools are advantageous.
