You will rewrite a massive industry with 10,000s of businesses by introducing technology to the moving industry, which has previously been untouched by software.
By working with our customer base, you will provide them with more time, revenue, and speed, radically uplifting the entire moving experience for everyone in the world.
You will likely determine the fate of our company by being part of a customer-driven team that tackles problems with empathy and logical reasoning.
The role involves solving real-world problems through a thorough process of problem discovery, user research, user testing, and iteration.
You will work with a smart and action-oriented team aiming to create an enduring and iconic company, moving quickly and iterating rather than deliberating.
Responsibilities include building new user-facing features end-to-end, creating generic systems for scalable workflows, optimizing the GraphQL backend, adding real-time support to notifications, and working on the early-staged design system.
You will also be involved in shipping code, conducting code reviews, and participating in product and design brainstorming sessions.

Requirements:

You have 2-5 years of experience at a relevant tech, product-driven company, ideally with 1-2 years in an early-stage startup (Seed, Series A).
You believe in the mission of making the moving experience great and understand its significance in a person's life.
You are curious and empathetic, always aiming to understand the full picture from the customer's perspective and willing to challenge your understanding to improve it.
You embrace change and are excited to propose and lead change when you have a better way.
Competencies required include understanding of relational databases, GraphQL, Python/Flask, AWS Lambdas, and basics of testing for backend; and React, React Native, GraphQL, and frontend testing for frontend.

You will have a large amount of ownership within the first 3 months of joining, with the ability to jump into projects within your first 30 days and own several features by the end of your 90 days.

Fast iteration cycles allow for multiple deployments per day without disruption to other engineers on the team.
