Modern Treasury is seeking Full-Stack Software Engineers to join their Engineering team, with the option to work from San Francisco, New York, or remotely.
The role involves building innovative payments products that cater to both engineering and finance teams.
As an early member of the engineering team, you will help shape the engineering culture of a fast-growing startup.
The core platform connects customers with their banks, providing an easy-to-use interface for banking systems.
Customers utilize Modern Treasury's products for various functions, including moving money, automating back-office work, and recording transaction ledgers.
The API is a critical piece of infrastructure, requiring robust and scalable systems to handle high volumes of API calls.

Engineers will collaborate with the product team to develop features for users such as accountants and controllers.
The onboarding process includes getting acquainted with the company culture, shipping your first commit on day one, and addressing minor improvements.
Within the first six weeks, you will ship a major project and write a blog post, while also shadowing customer meetings.
After six months, you will work on product development and mentor new engineers.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Experience with SQL/Relational databases is required.
Candidates should have experience working with large-scale, high-availability systems.
