Description:

The Software Engineer position is on the Digital Experience Analytics (DXA) team, focusing on delivering insights into users' digital interactions for Fullstory customers.
This role can be performed remotely anywhere within the United States.
The engineer will collaborate with teammates to strategize and execute scaling for Fullstory’s flagship application.
Responsibilities include ideating on leveraging AI capabilities, engineering high-performance systems, maintaining production environments, and proposing solutions for customer pain points.
The engineer will work closely with customers to co-create solutions that meet their unique needs and drive value.
The expected impact includes developing an understanding of core service areas, contributing to product roadmap planning, supporting key project development, and becoming an expert in a major feature area.

Requirements:

Candidates must have an understanding of data structures and API design to enable functionality across services.
Experience in collaborating with others to reach technical decisions through clear communication and documentation is required.
Proficiency in writing production code in languages such as Go, Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript is necessary, along with a willingness to learn new languages.
Experience in building web applications using React, TypeScript, or similar front-end technologies is essential.
Exposure to cloud-based services and eagerness to learn technologies like Kubernetes, gRPC, document search databases, or distributed data storage systems is expected.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
