Remote Software Engineer - Fullstack

Description:

• Addepar is seeking a Software Engineer to build solutions supporting clients' alternative investment strategies using AI and machine learning.
• The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and product managers, to enhance operational efficiency.
• Responsibilities include envisioning, prototyping, and delivering AI and ML applications, contributing to the Alternatives Operations application suite, and learning about Alternative Investments and Addepar's financial model.
• The Software Engineer will work on JavaScript, Python, and Retool, and collaborate with Engineering counterparts in the US and UK.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a professional software engineer.
• Strong passion for implementing methodologies and automation, with a track record of collaborating with and mentoring other engineers.
• Experience in building scalable systems, modeling financial data, or developing user interfaces.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, Python, and knowledge of terraform or similar infrastructure as code framework is a plus.
• Experience in AWS is also a plus.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
