Remote Software Engineer - Fullstack (Remote, United States)

Description:

• The Fullstack Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using Go, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Remix, and TypeScript.
• Responsibilities include implementing scalable APIs and back-end services, creating reusable components, collaborating on new features, translating requirements into technical specifications, participating in agile software development, mentoring junior engineers, improving engineering practices, conducting code reviews, troubleshooting and optimizing web application performance, and engaging in cross-functional collaboration.
• The position involves working with tools like Slack, GitHub, and video conferencing in a remote work environment.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of front-end and back-end development principles.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Commitment to best practices such as Git, testing, and continuous integration.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Proficiency in Go, Remix, and TypeScript.
• Experience with message broker systems like Kafka.
• Understanding of AWS and its services.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
