Remote Software Engineer (Fullstack/Azure)

Description:

• SOUTHWORKS is seeking a Software Engineer with software development skills to work on projects for top brands, scale-ups, and industry leaders.
• The position involves writing code for high-quality, high-profile projects and collaborating with a team of skilled coders.
• The role requires experience in backend development, working with a Cloud provider (preferably Azure), and familiarity with languages like C#, Python, NodeJS, or Typescript.
• Candidates should have knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, relational and non-relational databases, scripting languages, DevOps principles, and automation pipelines.
• The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in a similar position and excellent English communication skills.

Requirements:

• Experience working in a team.
• Excellent technical skills in backend development.
• Experience with a Cloud provider, preferably Azure.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: C#, Python, NodeJS, or Typescript.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization solutions.
• Knowledge of community standards, code guidelines, and design patterns.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases like MongoDB.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, bash/shell, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and automation pipelines.
• Experience with tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• 1+ year of experience in a similar position.
