Remote Software Engineer (Fullstack/Azure)

Description:

• SOUTHWORKS is seeking a Software Engineer with software development skills to work on high-profile projects for renowned brands, scale-ups, and future industry leaders.
• The selected candidate will be part of a three-person Fireteam, collaborating with skilled coders to deliver innovative solutions efficiently.

Requirements:

• Must have experience working in a team and at least 1 year of experience in a similar position.
• Excellent technical skills and relevant experience in backend development are required.
• Familiarity with a Cloud provider, preferably Azure, is essential.
• Proficiency in web application development using languages like C#, Python, NodeJS, or Typescript is necessary.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization solutions is a must.
• Knowledge of community standards, code guidelines, and design patterns is required.
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases, such as MongoDB, is necessary.
• Some experience or knowledge in scripting languages like Python, bash/shell, or PowerShell is expected.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and experience in implementing automation pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps is essential.
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, is mandatory.
• Nice-to-have skills include hands-on experience with Kubernetes and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
