Remote Software Engineer (Fullstack/Cloud)

Description:

• SOUTHWORKS is seeking a Software Engineer (Fullstack/Cloud) to join their team remotely from Uruguay.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have good technical skills and relevant experience in at least one programming language.
• Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks and microservices is preferred.
• Experience with at least one front-end framework such as React, Angular, or Vue (JavaScript/Typescript) is required; familiarity with cross-platform frameworks like React-Native and Flutter is a plus.
• Candidates should have practical experience in Native Cloud Development using AWS, Azure, or GCP, including managed services in categories like Storage, Compute, Integration, Analytics, Monitoring, and Security.
• Familiarity with direct customer interactions, standups, and pair programming is necessary.
• Knowledge of community standards, code guidelines, and design patterns is essential for solving complex problems.
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in a similar position is necessary.
